Still owed by the O'Brien sisters, St Dorothy's has recently begun a new chapter in it's history. Gabrielle (middle sister) has returned to live there, joining her sister Angela who has been one of St. Dorothy's main custodians over the last 20 years. Gabrielle is an experienced Counsellor and Spiritual Accompanier who has a background of working in the Expressive Arts, Mental Health and Holistic Wellbeing. There are many combined skills with some wisdom and knowledge and great intent driving the renewal of St. Dorothys in Cornwall. What can be assured is, that respect, great hospitality and warmth awaits any visitor or enquirer.

St. Dorothy's Retreat is a magical get away place. It has a warm and comfortable house with all modern facilities in a setting of timeless and unspoilt beauty. Available to book the whole house or part of it for your time to recharge and unwind. Special events, classes and workshops can be created for your bespoke stay and enjoyment or you may hire the venue to host your own Holistic or creative workshops subject to suitability. The owners of this very special place are looking to build relationships with people that are mutually beneficial and create positive energy and well- being. St Dorothy was the patron saint of Horticulture, Growers and Florists and this land was dedicated to her in the 60s. It is the families desire that they build on their parents wonderful legacy by creating and sharing space for renewal and personal growth and development.

Gabrielle is already welcoming people to work with her ' one to one' over a three to five day residential basis. She has developed a unique and dynamic style of talking therapy.
